Grocery Shopping is a piece made entirely of painted, layered pieces cut from Harris Teeter grocery bags. The piece is a celebration of life’s gems of joy. To me, the most beautiful things and the things I take inspiration from are those that are grown from our amazing Earth.

Like all my collages this piece is chalk-full of little wrinkles and dabs of glue that add character to the piece and bring life to it.
